How did this site come about?
This site was birthed out of a late night whim to try to see if I could make better sense of the numbers I saw coming in from the New Hampshire primaries. It was originally just an exercise in data formatting, but during the night, with the great help of fellow Ron Paul supporters from www.RonPaulForums.com, I began to add data points to my charts.
As a result, there appeared to be something strange going on when comparing the machine counted versus the hand counted votes. At that time, and ever since then, I have said that I wasn't sure what these apparent anomalies meant, and made it clear many times that the numbers I presented were NOT enough to prove anything. I offered these numbers up simply to draw more attention so others could research them further.
As it turned out, my little exercise drew much more attention than I had ever imagined. In the first 48 hours, my charts were viewed over 100,000 times from every part of the world. And since then, they have been referenced in hundreds of news articles, comments, blogs, discussion threads, emails, etc. I am truly humbled and amazed in the truest sense of the words.
Originally the stats were hosted at http://www.RonRox.com/paulstats.php, but I soon realized that this needed its own identity. I decided to set up this domain and clean things up a bit. I also decided to incorporate the results of all of the upcoming primaries, and possibly the general election, as data becomes available. I know that this is an ambitious goal since I am but one person.
I am not currently associated with any organization related to any campaign other than the rather loose Ron Paul grassroots revolution. I have not been paid or encouraged by any campaign to do any of this. All of my effort is of my own volition, done simply so I can do my small part to help ensure that this historic election accurately reflects the will of every American citizen who chooses to vote.
